Bob was very good about explaining the work that needed to be done and the steps that would to be taken. They replaced the limestone, cleaned it, sealed it and matched the mortar to the existing brick. Very good experience. We had 3 fireplaces repaired to make functional. Also had them convert a closet into a stacked washer and dryer space. They did a wonderful job and in a very timely manner. Plan to hire again, and would highly recommend.

It was excellent! Linda went way beyond by getting samples and bringing them to our home. I had a picture that I wanted it to look like and it was done precisely. Terrible. We hired Showecker to relay our patio pavers because water was puddling when it rained. There is still puddling, although marginally better than it was. They did an awful job of installing polymeric sand between the pavers. We were left with clumps of hardened sand that we cannot remove. The worst was the stain they offered to put on. They slopped stain on the walls of our house and garage in the process. They put the stain on with rollers, in such an amateur manner that there are now roller lines all over the patio. When we called this to Bob's attention, he claimed that he did the staining for free and the lines would disappear in 30 days. Of course they did not. I feel like we flushed $4650 down the toilet.

Great! They do beautiful work. Even tinted the mortar to match the old mortar, so the repair was not obvious. We have used them for a couple of other projects in the past. They are responsive, fairly priced, and do a great job.

Showecker was great! Quickly came out for estimate; responsive to messages/good communication; beautiful work. The guys worked hard & efficiently. EXCELLENT WORK! They did a beautiful job removing and replacing the concrete driveway. Corrected the slope, completely built new base course and rebar reinforced. (Was just a pad on dirt before) Re-sloped gravel driveway beyond the concrete and packed in new driveway stone. Bob and his crew are outstanding. They take pride in their work and it shows.

Cost $4850- They replaced our very large chimney cap, spalled bricks on chimney and other places, shored up the sagging bricks over the garage opening, re tuck pointed the bricks under most of the windows and on one doorway, fixed cracks on at least 3 walls and other small fixes, they really knew what they were doing. I was surprised how much better the whole house looked with all the bricks fixed up. They did a great job!

I was so impressed with Bob and Linda Showecker . They came out to look at the site for an estimate the first day I posted the job and had a reasonable estimate within a few days (it was comparable to a few other quotes I got). They kept an open line of communication, got the job completed quickly, and it looks great. We did an addition to our existing patio, and they matched the existing patio lines well. They did a great job cleaning up after too. I’ve come to realize how hard it is to find good, trustworthy, and reliable contractors and was so happy we found Showecker Construction. Would definitely use again and would highly recommend them to others.

It went very well. We are in the process of selling a home in the Indy area and potential buyers want chimney repaired and crack in side of (brick) house repaired. Looked for highly rated pros and found a couple. One company said they were booked for 5-6 months. Then we found Showecker Masonry. They responded promptly and were out to do a quote within a day or two. They found additional problems with crack in side of house. They gave us quotes on the chimney and two options on the wall crack. Talked to the realtor and selected one of two options. This took a few days. After hearing from realtor, called them back and they were out to start the repair work the same day or the next day (do not remember). The work was completed in two days and approved by the realtor. Very responsive; good work; reasonable price. Would definitely hire them again!

They were very timely with the estimate and starting/completing the project. Everything was explained to me ahead of time and as we went along. The work quality was excellent. They did a very nice job matching the existing house bricks. The cleanup was very good. Bob even came back later to assist with correcting an issue caused by another contractor. I am very pleased with everything and would hire them again.

These guys are awesome! They did a fast, amazing job, were really nice, explained the scope of the job to me clearly, and their prices were very competitive. The top dozen or so courses of my 100 year old chimney were falling apart, the liners were cracked and the topper had blown off, they rebuilt it using the existing bricks, matched the mortar perfectly, and even gave it a little detailing. It looks so great, I'm so happy with it! Thank you guys!

Bob and crew very professional and knowledgeable. Adapted to change in project due to unknown landscape issues with no problems and reasonable additional cost. The prices we were quoted were reasonable plus with the workmanship and the final results, more than worth it. We are very pleased with the results and will hire them again for another project next year!

I am happy with the quality of the work. It looks like what I was expecting. The price was excellent, they saved me a LOT of money compared to Bone Dry Masonry. Seemed to do things the right way instead of just doing it the fastest way. They also did a good job of cleaning up for a "broom clean" finish at the end. Bob and Linda were nice to deal with. Unfortunately, I signed the contract at the end of September 2020 and it was just completed the first week of April 2021. I would've liked to give them 5 stars but simply can't because of the unacceptable delay and poor communication on project status. The initial delay may have been related to their limestone supplier, but still, they should've done a better job keeping me updated. I was extremely patient because the backyard wasn't being used in the winter time, but had to be pretty firm that the project must be completed before I hired someone else. I would hire them again for something like an outdoor living space or outdoor fireplace made with brick or stone. I don't think I would hire them again for something critical and time-sensitive.

Very pleased with the service they performed on a 95 year old chimney that needed to be rebuilt from the ground up. Bob and his crew did a professional job and cleaned up their mess each day. I would rehire them again.
