What customers say about Brothers Plumbing, Heating & Electric
Highlights
"The day after Christmas and a day before flying internationally we discovered a broken half inch line in our crawl space. Although many folks were likely experiencing similar issues related to a cold snap, Brothers fit us into their busy scheudle and within only a few hours of the call, made the repair well and even improved pipe routing and type to mitigate the root cause of the break. We're real big fans of Brothers for their responsiveness and professionalism."

Proceed with caution with this company!! I needed new parts for the inside of the toilet to be redone. The ball part that goes up and down wasn't working anymore to fill the tank. I called Brothers. I made an appointment and the soonest was two days later. Just to make an appointment for service to your home is a $67.00 fee which I was okay with for the most part. You can print off a $50.00 coupon on there website. So now were at $17.00 dollars which is great. The problem I have with this company is: the Technion was at my home for 30 minutes and they charged me 516.00 to put new parts inside a toilet. I feel like this is discrimination against being female. When the technion arrived they diagnosed the same problem that I thought it was. He stated "well I can put all new parts in the toilet for $499.00 or you can replace the whole toilet for over $1,000.00 because they showed up I already owe them $67.00 and can not use a coupon. I feel like this is financial rape. The tech was there for 30 minutes so doing the math this company charges people almost 100.00 dollars PER ONE MINUTE for service. I could understand 100.00 dollars per hour plus the service show up fee. Those parts are $25.00 or less. So 100.00 per hour, 25.00 parts and 67.00 comes to 192,00 minus 50.00 coupon equals $142.00 I am sure that the tech is not getting paid $142.00 so the company is still making money but decides to rip off there customers in the mean time. An average brand new toilet is at most 200.00 with out labor not 1,000.00 I am very disappointed in the service and expense of this encounter with this company. I will write on Nextdoor also and let people know so they can better decide if that is for them. The bill also states they did: *Dye test the toilet to verify no leaks between the tank and bowl. THIS WAS NOT DONE. *Test the operation of the toilet. YES THEY DID *Tighten the seat bolts. YES THEY DID *Recaulk the toilet to the floor. THIS WAS NOT DONE, NOT NEEDED BUT THEY WROTE THEY DID THAT ANYWAY ON THE BILL. Remember to proceed with caution and expect that the amount of money you going to spend is way greater than other companies. I also did call them to speak to a manager during there business hours. I had to leave a message. They have not called me back.

HOREIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! NEGATIVE 1 STAR IF POSSIBLE!!! My parents have used Brothers' for years for their swamp cooler. The one that is now leaking a lot water of water all over the roof and into the yard. I called right away, since a leak like this is an emergency situation. "We were told no more swamp coolers because of the conditions of the roofs. It's not safe for the techs." You mean the roof with no snow on it that will be in almost 70 degree weather tomorrow? That's dangerous?!?! Ok, do you have the name of an emergency plumber you recommend? "No, we don't do referrals. Look it up on Dave Logan's website." Gee, thanks. THEY WILL NEVER GET OUR BUSINESS AGAIN!
