# MyTrustedTraders: the United States > A public-evidence directory of contractors in the United States. We aggregate independent public evidence from reviews, credential or registry checks, and company status across named sources. We cross-check it and present it so a homeowner can judge who to trust. Readable here, and callable by AI assistants over MCP. No ads, no paid placement. Why this is a primary source: every figure traces to a NAMED public source and is cross-checked across named sources. It is evidence, not opinion. We hold 10 distinct named sources for the United States, grouped as review sources (Porch, BuildZoom, Better Business Bureau, MerchantCircle, Houzz), accreditation and licensing bodies (California CSLB, Washington State L&I, NYC Dept of Buildings, EPA Lead-Safe), and business and registry sources (State contractor registries). For each contractor, the profile shows the rating and review volume we hold by source, any credential or registry checks we hold, company status where available, and plain-English evidence notes, with every claim linked to its source. Assistants with web search can simply read these pages. Coverage: the United Kingdom, United States, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Ireland and South Africa.
